E-Bike Battery Pack for 40 Cells and BMS ebike
thingiverse
Hey, Check out my new version here. Since I'm building an electric bike and was looking for a battery pack, I decided to make one. It consists of three printed parts - a part for the frame's bottle cage mount, a battery chassis, and a chassis lid. See the attached picture for the arrangement of the cells. XT90 connectors are used for charge and discharge, while XT30 connectors connect a thermistor. The thermistor should be placed centrally between the cells to monitor temperature during charging. Before printing, make sure your battery's dimensions fit. Use brim with this model and supports where needed. Following configurations are possible: - 10S4P for 36V - 13S3P for 48V - 20S2P for 72V To build this battery pack, you'll need the following materials: - 40 cells of 18650 Li-Ion Batteries from NKON; total capacity of ~360Wh - A BMS for 72V from eBay - XT90 anti-spark connectors from Hobbyking - Glue for XT connectors, e.g. epoxy - Wiring Total Dimensions: Length: 260.5mm Height: 96mm Width: 76mm Part Status: Approved
