I was printing the DeathTrooper Blaster, designed by eodtech1982, for a friend and needed to detach the struts so they could be fabricated using an alternative material. The holes for the struts are 20mm deep. A straightforward edit in Blender that I am sharing in case it is useful to anyone else.
