Dísztű, "igla"
sketchfab
Metallic ornament, part of the Serbian women's headwear in Pomaz until the end of the 19th century. The special bridal headdress (ubradacs: a scarf-like veil with beads, flowers, and mirror pieces) was secured to the earlobe by it. Made of an alloy of metals. The long pin head is spherical, star-shaped at the top, flower-shaped on the sides, and blue-glazed ceramic decor in shades of blue. Atop and in the patterns, genuine diamonds. One part of the decoration is incomplete, so it's visible: the spherical base is formed by a neatly coiled cord of flax yarn. Balkan metalwork, which reached the capital city and its surroundings as merchandise of Danube traders.
