DZ60 Keyboard Case
thingiverse
I worked closely with Dave on a project involving a mechanical keyboard case, specifically the DZ60. This case features an innovative wrist angle design that also accommodates cable storage. The bottom corners of the case boast depressions for anti-skid feet, providing stability and preventing accidental movements. I'm currently unable to confirm what these feet are due to Dave's current work commitments; I will provide updates as soon as possible. For assembly purposes, we employed methylene chloride, a solvent that effectively dissolves PLA without causing it to bond like traditional glue. This allowed us to create a two-piece case design that requires gluing. To reinforce the joint, three strategically placed tabs are included. Feel free to take the reins and develop your own joining design. I'm excited to see how you approach this challenge!
