Dyze Direct Drive Extruder Mount for Ender 6, Ender 5
thingiverse
Fits the DyzeExtruder GT and the DyzEnd Pro. Should also fit other DyzeDesign extruders and hotends, but I haven't tested them. Includes both Ender 5 and Ender 6 mounts. Creality redesigned their carriage plate for the 6 so use the correct one for your printer. Requires 2 countersunk M3 screws to bolt it to the carriage before adding the extruder and hotend. 10mm should be long enough. Unfortunately, the design of the carriage does not allow putting the Dyze hardware into the mount first; that would make installation so much easier. Has holes on both sides to mount the extruder, even though Dyze Design weirdly says you'll survive if you only mount it on one side. That may be true, but I recommend both sides for best stability. Also, the holes are *really* tight by design, and you may have to sand any burrs off the inner corners unless your print is very clean. It's a little difficult to line the holes up, but once you succeed you'll have a very tight fit. Best results would be from inserting all 4 bolts first, then tightening them. Has a facility on the side to attach the stock part cooling fan. Remove the 90 degree guide from the fan and install with the open side facing down into the curved air flow tunnel. I had to hand drill the four printed holes for the fan; I don't know what size drill bit I used, only that it was slightly narrower than the outer diameter of the fan bolts. I printed this in nylon because I already had a nylon capable printer, but I suppose you could use PETG to get your system up and running, then print the replacement in nylon.
