Dyson "Wheel Spigot" DY-91410901 replacement
thingiverse
If you own a Dyson DC-25 or a comparable vacuum cleaner, you'll find a small wheel attached to the selector mechanism (check out the images).\r\nThis wheel regulates the airflow between the handheld wand and the floor pickup.\r\n\r\nA tiny piece secures into the pivot bushing of this wheel.\r\nIn earlier models, it was made of plastic but tends to break without warning.\r\nClearly, the original plastic component wasn't sufficient because its replacement part (DY-91410901) is crafted from metal and frequently goes out of stock.\r\n\r\nIt will inevitably shatter when you need your vacuum most.\r\nWhen yours falls apart, you'll have to order a new one, which means waiting.\r\nAnd it'll cost at least $10, including shipping and taxes (if applicable).\r\n\r\nAlternatively, you can print a replacement for just a couple of pennies and have it ready in under 10 minutes.........\r\nThis solution should work for any Dyson vacuum that uses the DY-91410901 "spigot".\r\n\r\nMy printed replacement has held up remarkably well.\r\nI hope this tip proves useful to you as well.
