My vacuum frequently fell apart whenever I attempted to clean rugs and carpet with it. Despite purchasing a replacement end cap, it failed to resolve the issue. The retainer is poorly designed, while the original part is too small or short to remain securely in place. Using Fusion 360, I created a new design for the head of the retainer that is slightly larger, allowing it to snap firmly into position and preventing it from coming loose. This modification has been thoroughly tested on multiple occasions, with consistently flawless results. UPDATE: Following my printed part's failure, I made some adjustments to the STL file. The shaft was thickened, and the overall height was reduced slightly, resulting in a significantly tighter and more secure fit. When printing this design, it is essential to use a high number of perimeters to strengthen the part (I personally used five).
