Dyson V6 Hepa Filter adapter
thingiverse
Intro ============================= Do you hate vacuum cleaner smell? I do. It makes me not want to vacuum. The Dyson V6 works fairly well, except my model like most only came with a pre filter no actual hepa filter. You can purchase a used part off ebay for ~$45-$60 (without the filter) but it didn't seem worth it. How ===================== They sell this part on amazon: [Amazon Link](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085D95KN7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=&linkId=1088b7a71e9ca893f5ec06f123e21bd5&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl) for a V7 or V8 hepa filter adapter. So based on the blower attachment by lonertic I made an adapter that goes from the back of the Dyson to the v7 hepa filter attachment. Assembly ================== * To put it together is fairly simple insert filter attachment, it's supposed to be a tight fit. * Secure it with 2 to 4 m3 x 10mm bolts. * Slide assembly over the back of the Dyson * Attach filter to back of Dyson * Optional: The seal between the vacuum and the adapter is not perfect you could choose to seal that with silicone or hot glue, do this at your own risk, when I experimented with it, a ton of air comes out of the filter holes and I couldn't feel any air come out of the gaps, so I didn't glue mine. Note: This also blocks the 'Max' button. I don't use that button much
