I designed this tool adaptor to allow my DeWalt DCV shop vac to use dyson tools. The Dewalt nozzle is 1.25in/31.75mm OD so this adaptor will fit this hose size for other brands. You will need to print the latch in ABS as it has a built in return spring (which will snap if printed in PLA). When assembled, this will allow you to use any dyson tool like the original connector (push lock latch). No metal springs required. Self latching and self sprung.
