The hose broke on my Dyson - at first, I just heard a high pitched squeaking sound, with some loss of suction. Upon inspection, I saw the tab holding the "internal hose" (best guess is part number 920682-01) had broken, allowing the hose to back out partially (eventually totally) so the main floor tool wasn't getting suction. I took it all apart, only to find the part to be externally accessible. After my fantasy of printing the whole clip died once I saw how I'd have to disassemble the hose itself, I figured I could just make a clip to hold the clip in place, which I did. I put a little time into making it print-in-place, and while the screwhead fits a little tight, I was able to use it just by giving the screw a little push.
