Dyson - Dual Attachment Tube Mount
thingiverse
Hey Guys - This is a remix of a remix which is an adapter that lets you hook up two tools or attachments to your portable Dyson vacuum. Initially, I used the "Dyson Twin Tube Attachment" model but ran into problems because it was really hard to attach to the vacuum and seemed a bit small too, plus each one only lasted about two months before breaking. This model hopefully addresses the attachment issue with these changes: - Expanded the holes for the nut a bit - Added a recessed hole for the bolt's head - Reinforced the area around the bolt head As for how strong it is, I printed my latest one using PETG instead of PLA with these settings in Cura on my Ender 3 Pro: - Layer Height: 0.28 - Infill: 100% - Temp: 240 (A bit higher than usual as this should result in better adhesion and strength) - Speed: 50mm/s - Build Plate Adhesion: Brim - Support: "Tree Support" (Regular support would work, but I've been using the experimental Tree a lot lately because it's faster and uses less material) Even Stronger: Hopefully this will last, but if not I'll probably print with a higher layer height using a 0.6 nozzle with a temp of about 245.
