Dyson DC35 Replacement Clip (Main Body) This replacement retaining clip is designed for the canister to main motor body of the Dyson DC35 handheld vacuum. While it may also work on other models, I can only confirm its compatibility with this particular model. A critical failure occurred when a flange on my original clip snapped, prompting me to take precise measurements and utilize the existing spring. If you've experienced a similar issue, you're likely aware that your vacuum becomes useless without this essential component. Installing this replacement clip requires some finesse, but it can be done with a bit of patience. To begin, place the spring into the clip, ensuring alignment with the plus sign on the canister mount. Next, position one of the clip flanges into the corner receiving hole while rotating the clip at an angle. As you press down firmly, rotate the clip back to its straight position, allowing the other flange to slide forward and click into place. Perform a few test presses to verify that the spring is functioning correctly before attaching the canister to the motor body as usual. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .20 mm Infill: 50% Notes: This clip was printed with ABS at 240 degrees, using a heated bed on my Lulzbot mini. I employed 2.95mm filament and a 90% flow rate for optimal results.
