Got a Dyson DC34 and a Swiffer Vac you can modify at the bottom? This DIY might be right up your alley.\nMy own Swiffer Vac had a dead battery pack, but I used the old Dyson DC34 before the DC35 came out. You probably know by now that it's designed for small areas only - no attachments are included, which limits its use on floors. However, there's an innovative fix!\nThe good news is that it works remarkably well.\n\n \n \n A Step-by-Step Guide\nDownload the Vacuum End file, orienting the print so the largest section is facing upwards. I chose heavy infill to make it stronger; I printed mine with 90% infill for extra strength.\nThe Swiffer End pieces require a moderate amount of infill, around 30-40%. Use supports if needed - their inside parts should be facing upwards for best results.\nThings You Will Need:\n-PVC pipe of one inch in length; cut it to the desired size\n-Two small course thread screws (I used ones I had lying around, but sorry, no exact size specified)\nThe modified bottom from your Swiffer Vac\nA slight issue arose during assembly: The PVC was marginally too narrow for the Swiffer end pieces. A single layer of electrical tape took care of it, securing everything in place nicely. However, the fit within the Vacuum End adapter required some light sanding to achieve a snug fit as intended.
