Dyson DC25 Cyclone to Shop Vac Modification (Dust Deputy Hack)

You can use an old Dyson Ball vacuum to make a dust deputy. I already have a dust deputy and it works great for everything except fine dust. ie. concrete dust and drywall dust. I decided to try using a Dyson because I think the cyclone is more geared toward fine dust, and its much easier to change out the washable filter. I keep a couple of extra filters handy, and swap them out as needed without it slowing down what I'm doing. I am using a 16 gallon Craftsman Wet/dry vac with 2.5" fittings. I made these so that they fit on the inside of those fittings, just because it reduces the size of the 3d printed part, and overall makes the transition to the Dyson less severe. Inlet REV4 is trimmed down a bit to make the fitment to the dyson a little bit better, and has a slight angle to allow more room for your vacuum to connect. Overall (2) improvements from what is installed on my Dyson.
