<p>Our Dyson DC14 upright took a bit of a tumble and the cord retaining arm broke. This replacement part is a fairly easy print (there are supports) and an easy repair.</p><p>Disassembly/Repair:</p><ol><li>Use a spudger (or sharp edge) to pop the gray center cap (see photo) off the cord retainer.</li><li>Unscrew the retaining arm – keep the screw and spring.</li><li>Reverse the steps to replace with this print.</li></ol><p>Printing:</p><ul><li>Cord retainer<ul><li>PETG recommended for strength (brittle PLA may not survive another tumble)</li><li>Print with the arm-side flat on the build plate</li><li>Print with supports on the build plate only</li></ul></li><li>Cap (optional)<ul><li>Print flat side down</li><li>No supports</li><li>This print is untested - I reused my old cap</li></ul></li></ul>
