Dyson DC to Kärcher Vacuumcleaner Nozzle Adapter

This is a versatile adapter designed specifically for attaching a standard vacuum-cleaner nozzle to a Dyson DC vacuum-cleaner. The design draws inspiration from KHecker's Adapter, but with some key modifications. To add extra durability, I reinforced the section where the Dyson locks in place by using a nut. This reinforcement also allows for a more secure connection between the adapter and the nozzle. Additionally, I increased the outer diameter of the section that fits into the nozzle to ensure a snug fit. The inside of the adapter has been optimized for reduced air resistance, allowing for smoother airflow when in use. However, it's worth noting that this adapter is not foolproof. After several uses, the original version broke due to excessive force applied during removal from under a piece of furniture. Further investigation revealed a weak point in the design (see print screen in gallery). To address this issue, I've created an updated reinforced version of the adapter, which can be downloaded for printing. To ensure stability, it's recommended to print the nozzle with 3 perimeters and use 100% infill for the cross-section. Print Settings: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer: Prusa i3 * Rafts: No * Supports: No * Resolution: 0.2mm * Infill: 20% Post-Printing Notes: For a tight fit between the adapter and the nozzle, use sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges. The outer diameter of the cone part is 0.2mm larger than necessary, allowing for easy sanding until it fits perfectly with your nozzle.
