This replacement part is designed for the Dyson DC18 ball vacuum's DY-911073-01 swivel latch, which has proven difficult to locate or is no longer in production. I've tried eleven different versions of this part so far, and after using it for a day, I'm still evaluating its durability. Keep in mind that the original component was crafted from plastic, giving it unique stress-tolerating properties. This modified version features enhanced strength for improved performance.
