The canister latch broke on my Dyson DC59, and I couldn't find just the latch part without having to buy another canister assembly...so I reverse engineered one from another unit I had. I have a lot of drafting experience from college, but between my inexperience using TinkerCAD, the relative inaccuracies of my calipers, and the approximations my printer made on the model, there are some up-close differences between this design and the OEM part. Fortunately, it's good enough in all the right places to work on the vacuum. :*) I am more than happy to tweak this if anyone has an issue, so feel free to shoot me a comment. Thanks - and enjoy!
