This is my repository of current frame and canopy experiments with the Dys Elf 83mm micro quadcopter. FRAMES: To fit 2" props on the Dys Elf, I think the 98mm CF frame is the best choice, but 95 will probably just barely squeeze them in. 98mm should allow the stock motors to fit without extending motor wires. Many frames are untested, but they should be pretty close to useable. Give them a try! The deeper ones are designed for 3D printing, and the flat ones are for CNC routing out of carbon fiber. CANOPIES: I've been working with Miu Miu Cheong from the Dys Elf owners group on Facebook to get a micro swift mounted to his elf. The 2mm enclosed canopy will work as a top plate if you use standoffs for the FC and plate, but it's close to 10g. The lighter one with just side plates may be a better bet. The CF top and side plates is my favorite, but we haven't made it yet. More news soon... My intention with these is to try and get the most out of this little quad performance-wise and make it easier to repair and work on because the stock parts are a bit of an interdependent jigsaw puzzle! The LED discs work pretty well, but you need to trim the sides of the LEDs to make them fit. The LED itself fits inside the little lip so it can't fall out. You will need 3mm longer screws to make them work! Enjoy! Richard
