DYS Elf Case Version 1
thingiverse
I've got my hands on a brand new DYS Elf that's currently on sale, and I just so happen to have designed a custom case for it specifically with travel in mind - this way, it'll fit perfectly in my luggage. The side slot is cleverly designed to hold three batteries at once, which should give me plenty of power on the go. As for the lid, I've made sure that it fits snugly into the top of the case, creating a seamless and secure closure. Now that I've got this design nailed down, my next project is going to be taking it up a notch by adding some serious functionality - namely, a hinge system that will allow me to open and close the lid with ease. And if that's not enough, I'm also thinking of adding a clasp or some retaining bumps/snaps to keep everything in place when the case is closed.
