You didn't know this, but it's a machine that dips any food in chocolate and sprinkles. Made for show-off at Aarhus Mini Maker Fair (AMMF) Oct 2016 - It worked. Based on the AUP3Steel wide frame (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1689048) with different mounts/fixtures for: A) Holding fruit B) Holding chocolate and sprinkles C) Holding cooling fan and serving cups With a homemade program for Gcode generation and sending (Lazarus source code included). 6-year-old kids could operate the machine (several have done), and almost 400 fruits were dipped and eaten at the two-day AMMF (12 hours in total). So much fun... Enjoy and have fun! Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: RepRapPro Infill: 40% Notes: A lot of milling and drilling is to be done. Post-Printing Instructions I'm not a programmer, so don't expect me to claim otherwise - the code is simple and infantile. Please feel free to take the ideas and scrap the rest; I won't comment on my poor skills. This is an add-on to the AUP3Steel wide printer frame (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1689048). The chocolate heating was done by a second Arduino, with code, pads, wiring provided by Peter (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1834162) - great work. All plates were CNC routed and mounted on electronic stubs; the chocolate heater was mounted using simple clips. The only tricky part was the toothpick and ejector - STL for this is given, and the servo motor just fit into the holder. The ejector wire started as Cu wire (1.7 Ø) then welding tread (ASTM 304, 1.4mm Ø), and finally spring steel (1.2 mm Ø). All worked, and the final one applied was the spring steel (by random). Connection of the servo to Ramps was inspired by a blog I lost the link to (Sorry to you all). In short: 1) Use PSU 5V+ to power your Servos (or USB and thus the Arduino will shut down); use a three-lagged Dupont plug with power in center. Be sharp, as you can damage your electronics - power 5V+ on the middle pin! 2) Plugin your servo (the right way) 3) Enable servos in Marlin: In configuration.h and uncomment the line: #define NUM_SERVOS 3 4) Now you can move your servos with M280 Px Sy where x is servo number and y is angle in degrees. Please note that Mxxx codes don't buffer as Gxxx codes do, so if you want to have the servo move sequentially with the Gcode, add M400 (empty buffer before requesting a new command) before the code.
