Dynamo - TaleSpin
thingiverse
Dynamo evolved during coursework in the Design of Mechatronics at DTU through 41030. It leverages a joule thief to accumulate sufficient voltage within the circuit for an LED to light up with minimal mechanical power input. This system is specifically designed for single-handed use. The electronic components involved are straightforward, requiring only a few elements to construct your own device. Components needed include: 1 steel rods 20mm in length 1 Capacitor 1 DC Motor 1 LED Light 1 Spring component 1 Joule Thief module (Visit: instructables.com/id/Make-a-Joule-Thief/) This dynamo model features a thoroughly tested clutch system, accessible as a parametric model. It also includes gear components. The assembly process is fairly intuitive; however, should you encounter any issues or need CAD files in alternative formats for modification purposes, do not hesitate to contact us directly.
