The proposed concept for the "velodroom" competition revolves around recharging electronic devices while cycling. It features a simple, easily removable, and portable system, comprising of three key components: a GSM/GPS holder, a dynamo, and a cable with one or two additional straps (not included in the SolidWorks files). The electricity generated during cycling isn't constant, necessitating an electric regulator to limit voltage. The recharging system operates via USB. This concept distinguishes itself from existing solutions by offering unique features that connect design and usage. Unlike Nokia's fixed dynamo position, this idea allows for easy adjustment and removal. Hand-drawn designs illustrate the concept clearly despite limitations in image quality. The innovative features include: 1) The dynamo's flexibility, connecting to the bike's handlebar like a light for easy positioning; 2) A unique connection method between the dynamo and holder with a spring that pushes them together, featuring integrated circular sprockets for precise adjustments; 3) A slightly spherical dynamo head for simpler positioning and better grip; 4) An adjustable cable length mimicking a measuring tape's mechanism for flexibility. The electric device holder design requires improvement to accommodate different device shapes and sizes. Two Velcro straps on the cable would allow attachment to bike bars, moving up and down as needed. Despite its rough appearance, this proposal serves as a foundation for further refinement and optimization.
