Constructing a homemade alternator with an output of 10 volts, 150 mA can be highly fulfilling. Check out this video for guidance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNR8xGPmUM0. To aid in the process, I utilized customized tools such as a winder and coil (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:100648) and (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:73915). Essential materials include a 0.018-gauge copper wire coil, two 4.5/13mm bearings, a central magnet measuring 30/10, four 25/3 magnets, and two smaller magnets functioning as terminals.
