#XYZCHALLENGE This model was designed to assist people struggling with a problem stemming from a fracture, spasticity or tendon issues in their hands and fingers through dynamic splint rehabilitation. This universal-sized product can be adapted to anyone who needs it, providing motivation for successful recovery and rehabilitation. In 2019, the goal was set to improve quality of life. Characteristics: The dynamic ferrule is composed of multiple pieces as seen in the images, so when assembling each piece instant glue should be used to reinforce it. Materials: Additional materials are required with a cost not exceeding $2: - Rectangular spring for finger support and grip during rehabilitation. - Circular spring or bands for adapted and progressive rehabilitation with elastic band systems. - 3 cm x 5 cm double-face Velcro to secure the splint around the wrist and hand. - High-comfort foam to prevent skin discomfort from direct contact with plastic. - Safety pins for precise measure when stretching bands and positioning fingers. The splint should be printed with mirror option functionality depending on the hand being rehabilitated, using only the hand support piece and thumb support piece.
