Dynamic Position Ship

Dynamic Position Ship

As we're short on time to design a wheelhouse for this ship, we would be incredibly grateful if someone could add it for us. This is a ship that our team designed specifically for use in our Real-time programming subject at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Ålesund. Our goal was to create a simple dynamic position system that can maintain its position in a wave tank. We couldn't find any models online with azipods where the motors are completely out of the water, which was essential for us since we wanted to use the ship in saltwater. The ship is designed to be mirrored, and it consists of 6 parts that make up the hull. We used 2-component epoxy to glue these parts together. Although the hull fits perfectly, our ship isn't yet complete. The holes for bearings, engine mounts, and steering gear need some improvement. Once we've assembled everything, a comprehensive part list will be provided. The propeller was designed by byedesign: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1778954 Here are the approximate dimensions of our ship: * Length: 80cm * Width: 28 cm * Height: 16.5cm We recommend an ideal load weight of around 10 Kg, but it can handle a maximum load of approximately 20Kg.
