This is a custom-built cockpit frame designed specifically for Dynam's ME262 twin 70mm EDF jet. My goal was to create an FPV experience that mimics the sensation of sitting in the cockpit, but the standard canopy provided with the kit falls short due to its poor picture quality when used for FPV. To overcome this limitation, I developed a frame featuring an open-air canopy, complete with all the structural elements a real-life pilot would encounter, thereby providing a more immersive and authentic experience for the FPV enthusiast. To further enhance this design, I also created a custom mount that allows users to integrate a standard wooden pan-and-tilt assembly from Readymaderc. The process is straightforward: simply remove excess foam from the Dynam center cockpit piece, glue the mount into place, and then attach the pan-and-tilt assembly, which screws directly into the printed mount.
