Replacement landing gear for C-47 Skytrain or DC-3 model aircraft utilizes 2mm screws to secure struts to base plate, which gets bonded to the plane. Axles are made from 3mm ABS rod, but any 3mm rod will suffice. This design accommodates 3.5 inch foam tires, providing increased ground clearance. Manufactured using PLA with a 100% infill rating. Future modifications aim to integrate suspension capabilities to absorb shock, prompting the development of version 2. Internal spring RC shocks are being sourced and once received, work on this updated design will commence. Assistance in implementing this enhancement is greatly appreciated.
