Dynam C-47 Flaps
thingiverse
Simple flaps for DC-3 models or any other plane that will fit. Uses 2x 9g servos, 4 hobby hinges, a paper clip for linkage and/or a couple clevises (if desired). Glue the horn to the flap, glue the hinges to the flap, cut a slice into the foam and press the other end of the flap in. The flap should fit tight. Position the servo and cut out the foam. Hot glue the servo in place and make a connection. You will need to reverse one servo for this. Simply open it up, swap the motor wires or unsolder the motor and turn it around and re-solder. Then cut the outer 2 potentiometer leads and swap them. That's it; the servo will now operate in reverse. You may need to adjust the endpoints in your radio for whatever channel you put these on as they don't require a lot of travel to deflect. I got the flap covers on here as well, so thank you! I used search (servo wing cover) and just contact cemented them on.
