Dynam C-47 drop bay
thingiverse
Internal Drop Bay for Dynam C47 or DC3 requires two 9G servos. Cut a block of foam out from the joined wings and place the box inside, then glue it in place. You may need to adjust elevator and rudder servos and linkage, as mine were a bit high and just hitting the rods. Simply pull them loose and re-glue them into their original position. Doors hinge on 3mm rod made from whatever material you wish; I used ABS rod and burned the ends to make a rivet-like effect. I made the wire connecting the servo to the doors out of big paper clips, with enough bends to fit comfortably inside. Ignore the springs in the pictures; they were part of version one, which used smaller servos. This 9G version operates without them, but you'll need to reverse a servo by swapping wires on the motor and potentiometer, then linking them together with a Y cable. I tried using a servo reverser but it wouldn't work with my radio transmitter.
