Dynam C-47 DC3 Model Steerable Tailwheel
thingiverse
To enhance steering ability of your Dynam C-47/DC-3's non-steerable original plastic tail wheel, fabricate a new, robust bracket and incorporate an additional linkage with the rudder servo. This adjustable throw feature allows for improved control. Follow these steps: print the first part of wire, pass it through the bracket, bend at 90 degrees, and insert a tubing piece to prevent wheel fall. Attach a servo control horn wire capture thingie (forgetting its proper name) by forming a loop in the wire linkage and securing it to this component. Finally, glue everything into place for better ground steering and controlled takeoff rolls. Don't forget to replace the tail wheel with a grippier one, and procure necessary wires and hardware.
