DynaLight

DynaLight

Project I designed around Adafruit's CircuitPlayground Express is a light source that will turn on/off based on what side it's on, change intensity if you tilt it front/back, and change color if you tilt it left/right. Video of it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtTI1Bfv6ug You'll need to print one of each part. I designed a 'case' for the CPE that fits into the light, then a ring snap-fits it into place. Note the case is a remix of parts from Adafruit's "Circuit Playground Neopixel YoYo", Thing #1766385. I modeled the light in Autodesk Maya. Things you will need: * The Circuit Playground Express: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3333 * A Micro-USB cable, capable of carrying data (not just charge). * A 3D printer capable of printing something roughly 8" square by 6" tall. * Your CPE flashed to run CircuitPython, and loaded with the provided Python module. I have a tutorial here covering how to do this: http://www.akeric.com/blog/?p=4294 * This CircuitPython project also requires the use of the Adafruit neopixel and adafruit_lis3dh bundles (Python modules), also explained in the tutorial.
