Dynaco PAT-5 Preamplifier Push Button Replacement set

Photos are of genuine Dynaco buttons. A prototype set of Dynaco PAT-5 Preamplifier Button Set is designed to print out these hard-to-find replacements. These preamplifiers were extremely popular kits available throughout the 1970s until the late eighties. Many of them still exist, and hobbyists continue to rebuild them today. Unfortunately, the plastic buttons become very brittle with age, making it increasingly difficult to find replacements. I decided to build a set for an acquaintance who needed replacements. Using a set of calipers, I measured up one of my buttons and built this model based on those measurements. This design includes 8 buttons, matching the number found on a PAT-5, ensuring all buttons match well. A video explanation of the model can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/I1pjdxxq92I After several failed attempts to achieve perfect sizing, I simply used the base hole as a pilot hole and bored it out with an 11/64 inch drill bit - this made it fit the button posts perfectly. Use the v2 model, which works best, as it is slightly larger than the original but not by much. The final model has the square hole pattern on the back that best fits the PAT-5 square posts for my printer.
