## FEATURE This project transforms Ultimaker 2+ into a dependable dual extrusion printer. The approach is built upon the impressive work everyone contributed to Mark2 for Ultimaker 2 and Ultimaker 3. The print head holds two hot ends, originally designed for standard UM2 heads that use 1.75 filament. The right nozzle moves up and down for easy nozzle swapping. This compact dual print head can achieve a single extrusion print area of 220x223x205 and a dual extrusion print area of 202x223x200. ## VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5hBJdgy24A ## FILES AND INSTRUCTIONS https://github.com/yyh1002/DXU ## CREDITS The lever lifting mechanism is inspired by Ultimaker 3's innovative design. The firmware has been modified based on Mark2 version of Tinkergnome firmware, created by tinkergnome. CURA profiles have been customized using the Mark2 profiles by tinkergnome and foehnsturm. Mark2Tweaks plugin for CURA was used, developed by Krys Lawrence.
