Dwemer Beer Stein

Idea This Dwemer-inspired Beer Stein has captivated me with its intricate details. As a huge fan of The Elder Scrolls series - particularly Oblivion and Skyrim - I instantly envisioned this design when I stumbled upon the Beer Stein Contest. A stout dwarf, weary from hours of laboring over his anvil, stands proudly in front of it, cradling a cold beer in the ancient Beer Stein that has been passed down through generations of his family. His exhaustion is palpable as he breathes in the dust and smoke from the hot fire, but his relief is evident as he takes a sip from the Beer Stein. Concept The Dwemer architecture in Skyrim seems to draw inspiration from the Deco Art Era, incorporating elements reminiscent of ancient Greek and other long-lost civilizations. To capture this essence, I chose to employ similar materials and simple shapes in my design. The only surface that features soft shading is the beer itself, while the entire Beer Stein boasts a hard surface finish. Materials The Beer Stein will be crafted from Dwemer metal - possibly brass or bronze - volcanic glass in a rich green hue, standard glass, and of course, cold beer. Software The mesh was created using Blender 2.79, while all textures were meticulously designed in Substance Painter 2.
