Dwarf Monk
thingiverse
Dwarven Monk for a DnD game. Cleaning up the supports proved to be more than just a routine task. The feet broke, revealing a bigger problem - the miniature's ankles were fragile and prone to damage. Since it was printed at 100% infill, I knew I had to get creative with repairs. Drilling and pinning the ankles using a pin vise, paper clips, super glue, and epoxy putty were the tools of the trade. The staff and other parts of its body required some TLC as well. I learned that perfecting supports is an ongoing process, but it's one I'm eager to master. A lot of sanding and filling in was needed to get everything back in shape, but with patience and elbow grease, the Monk was good as new.
