Inspired by GordonWellman's Dwarf Fortress phenomenon, my project involves a parametric OpenSCAD-based file. I utilized one of the game fonts from http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=1922, opting for the font that closely resembles the default font in the game. The source code is easily modifiable to accommodate a different font name if desired. I highly recommend printing this design using two distinct colors. Given my printer's single extruder configuration, I simply paused it mid-layer and switched filaments to achieve the desired effect. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa Xi3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: crude: the "pixels" are enormous, lacking fine details Infill: 10% worked well for me How I Designed This: A stacked code page of 437 characters is rendered using one of the supplementary game fonts.
