The Dwarf Fortress emblem, featuring Bay 12 Games' curses/ascii dwarf symbol, represents a short and robust figure fond of drink and work. To enhance the icon's cohesiveness, a backing board is utilized. I am currently testing different materials to fill the empty space for better contrast. With Google SketchUp as the assembly tool, using the symbol as a template, it has been printed on a Solidoodle 2 printer.
