This is a Wildcard Talon/Katana Version of my popular full-length takedown magwell, specifically designed for short caliber variants. The supplied and modified mag release works exclusively with talons, but you can install the original wildcard magazine release if desired. To ensure proper assembly, use metric files with metric hardware when working with locknuts from Slugs hardware kits. For Imperial/Talonclaw configurations, it's essential to stick with Imperial files. The upper component is intended for a 15mm barrel and prints upright on its front face without any support needed. However, before assembly, make sure the through-hole for the ram is cleared of debris. When screwing in the threaded rods for the first time, they may be quite tight. The lower component sits flat on its angled bottom face and requires printing with support for the front pin holes. Depending on your printer's capabilities, you might also need to print with support inside the plunger tube hole.
