Prelude: This project sparked Captain Slugs development of his own take-down and interchangeable mag-well. It's a completed design that I've put a lot of time into perfecting. What to Print: - TopRail_Shortened is always required (but should match the latest generation of rail that comes with Captain Slugs version of the take-down mag-well). - IMPERIAL - Use with Official hardware kit or when retrofitting a genuine Captain Slug Caliburn. - METRIC - only when you can't get hold of American hardware, it allows you to use a 40mm plunger tube and smaller hex nuts for M5 threaded rod. - Print the corresponding Upper and Lower Receiver (Lower_Katana if you want to use Katana-like magazines only). - Katana_Release is the required mag release for the Lower_Katana. The full-length version works with the original release. Optional: - Plunger Retainer only works with the full length lower right now, it protects your plunger from popping out when transporting the split Caliburn. - Pusher Cap protects your Pusher O-ring from dust and garbage when transporting the split Caliburn. Support and Orientation: - Upper: Print with the Front side flat on the printbed. Support not necessary and not recommended. - Lower: Print with the angled bottom Magwell surface flat on the printbed. Support necessary, it's recommended to block support inside the threaded rod holes and inside the mag release slot. Alternatively use a high x/y distance from the model.
