DVD ENCLOSURE

DVD ENCLOSURE

Others I downloaded did not fit!, so made one from scratch. An adaptor can be purchased to power up your old computer external dvd drive to enable it to be read through usb on your laptop (As most have no dvd drives in these days). It looks nicer in an enclosure, they are around £80 to buy so print two I did with 10% infill and a brim. Made in two halves as the screws hold it together underneath, plus I could keep an eye on the print without leaving it overnight. So you will need to clean out the fixing holes with a drill bit and file the corners of the box a little to fit. Time taken around 10 hours each half at 80mms. I hope someone finds it useful to them too.
