Need a face plate to cover a 12.7-mm DVD drive to SSD/HD adapter? Try this one for a perfect fit. You can print it in PLA, but PETA or TPU flexible filament is preferred due to their excellent durability. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the exact specifications online, so I took matters into my own hands and measured it myself several times until I got it right. This face plate snaps seamlessly onto a 12.7 mm DVD drive bezel, covering both metal and plastic components inside with ease. It's purely an aesthetic upgrade, but one that makes a big impact. Designing this face plate was quite the challenge, requiring precise measurements and constraints throughout the process. I think it would be an excellent project for students looking to hone their design skills or simply customize something useful and simple. In its current form, the plate measures 12.7 mm in width, 128 mm in length, and a mere 2.0 mm in thickness.
