This design has undergone significant improvements over the original version. A major enhancement is the inclusion of mounting notches on the exterior of the mount, rather than a single hole in the interior. The original design's limited clearance made it difficult to hold or hammer a nail in place. In contrast, the new design features a notch instead of a hole, allowing for screws or nails of any size, and providing ample space for navigation. The entire print has been slightly thickened, and an additional support beam has been integrated into the center. This was done because the original's central section warped over time, although it didn't affect the design's functionality, it did cause inconsistent spacing between the DVD cases. I have once again reduced the spacing for DVD/BR cases, resulting in a tighter fit. However, this means that DVD cases with extra cardboard covers will no longer be accommodated. Due to the extremely tight fit, I opted to truncate the topmost point of the shelves to prevent scratching of the outer plastic on the DVD case. This design was printed using PLA material. Supports are not required; however, I did print with 60-degree overhang supports and achieved significantly more precise clean edges. The difference between prints with and without supports is only noticeable from close proximity. I will soon upload photos to showcase this creation. This design was crafted using Tinkercad.
