This is a straightforward push contact cell holder for manufacturing 18650 cell batteries, as many cells as you require. I was exhausted with constantly opening up welded batteries to replace a single failed cell and then welding it back in place. Additionally, without welding, you can re-balance your battery by re-arranging the cells. It's intended to provide some clearance for airflow and cooling for the cells as well. Designed specifically for 6 mm contact plates, which are inserted from outside. When assembling, make sure to orientate the openings for the contacts in the right direction. For parallel setups, simply connect longer strips over several cells. For series connections, pair two cells together or turn them until you achieve your desired sequence. It's designed for welding-free contact, so the box must apply pressure from both ends to maintain contact. Please take into consideration the materials used based on the possible battery temperature at full load (PLA may not be the best option). There are two types of connecting pins: single and double. The latter is intended for holding nickel plates in place where necessary. Design specifications: internal diameter 18.5 mm, total height 10.6 mm, external dimensions 21.3 mm and 23 mm, contact base 5 x 5 mm, openings 6 x 1 mm. Print some test samples first and scale them to match your printer, material, and cells.
