Dutchman Shelf
thingiverse
A scaled-down kitchen iPad holder was made, but a cherry or walnut version would have been preferred. The shelf strip has two countersink screw holes, which may need adjustment for varying screw head sizes. While not necessary for flush mounting, screws should be countersunk to avoid catching on pins. The holder's weight capacity is unknown, so use caution when loading heavy items. Dutchman/butterfly joints, used historically in woodworking, connect planks as pins in this minimalist organizer. Inspired by an unsuccessful Kickstarter project by Peter Duncan, the design can be seen on Yanko: http://www.yankodesign.com/2014/01/31/all-in-one-wall-accessory/. Replicate twice, approximately taking two hours at a cost of 0.30 per 15% infill.
