This is a completely customizable tool rack made up of hexagons that stack and are built from 8020 extrusion. The hexagons can be arranged in any configuration you prefer. I opted for arranging my tool rack in a triangle formation. "Dutch" tool cases typically use the triangle configuration because it provides easy access to tools. Alternatively, "Montezuma" triangle tool chests can cost hundreds of dollars. Make sure to check out the tool holders at this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3502012 I need your assistance in designing tool holders for 20x20mm aluminum extrusion. Real 80/20 extrusion is engineered to accept a M5 Tap, and real 8020 can be tapped and bolted into place. However, some "off brand" 2020 extrusion has a 5mm center that is not ideal for tapping. I have provided an adapter that allows the use of off-brand extrusion. Assembly requires some scrap extrusion of uniform length, 5mm bolts, and imagination as to how the parts will come together.
