Human: Dutch 1700 class steam locomotive 1:48 (Proto48 scale) O_Gauge The 1700 class is an impressive class of beautiful steam locomotives. They were a vital part of the Dutch national fleet of locomotives. Unfortunately, all are now scrapped. However, we have managed to recreate a digital model of this historic locomotive, and even better; you can now 3D print one yourself and run it on your O gauge layout. The model features a gearbox that connects a standard 6-volt DC motor to the wheels. So, get a motor, assemble the locomotive, give it a paint job, and bring a piece of history back to life. If you build one, please feel free to post some images of the result! I would love to see all of them. And keep your eyes open for more to come! I have included a set of .OBJ files; STLs are available soon. It may happen that the 3D models appear a bit rough once opened in slicer software, but they should slice perfectly fine.
