Dutch signal box

Dutch signal box

thingiverse

This signal box was built in 1911 in Hoogezand-Sappemeer for the State Railways. It was taken out of service in 1986, after which it was rebuilt in 1988 on the outdoor grounds of the Railway Museum. Above the entrance to the signal box is a large 'T': this indicated that a 'train dispatcher' worked in the signal box, or that there was a telephone or telegraph with which you could reach a train dispatcher. The train traffic controller was responsible for safety on a route and was therefore responsible, among other things, for the signals. I have taken over the measurements from a drawing on a scale of 1:87. Furthermore, I have recreated everything as closely as possible to the example of the photo. Not for commercial purposes. Good luck with this Dutch signal box. I would love it if you take a picture of what you made and post it here.
