Dutch galiots, flat-bottomed vessels with rounded bows and sterns, excelled in shallow waters from the 17th century onward. Primarily serving as merchant ships in northern Europe and the Mediterranean, they inspired a highly detailed 3D model based on a 1740 design. This model offers realistic unwrapped UVs and is rendered with V-Ray 2.40. It features polygon counts of 504,376 (level 0) and 4,034,700 (level 1), vertex counts of 525,297 (level 0) and 2,057,575 (level 1). The scale is real-world with units in centimeters, including 19 textures ranging from 1024x1024 to 8192x8192. A sea water material is included, along with PSDs for the textures and an archive of renders. No third-party plug-ins were used in creating this model.
