Dutch Drawbridge

Dutch Drawbridge This model of a traditional Dutch Amsterdam Canal Bridge is based on drawbridges found in Amsterdam and is part of the "New Amsterdam Crochet Project" initiated by my wife. Several 3D printed models resulted from this project. I have included some photos of the complete New Amsterdam crochet scene (by night) to give an idea of the project that this model belongs to. When fully assembled, this drawbridge model will measure 25 cm long, 22 cm wide, and 19 cm high. This bridge fits well into the LGB model train scale, which is approximately 1:25. All parts can be printed without support material. Parts List: BRIDGE_MAIN_TRUSS.STL - 1 piece FLOOR.STL - 1 piece BRIDGE_CROWN.STL - 1 piece BRIDGE_ARM+COUNTERWEIGHT.STL - 1 piece BRIDGE_RAMP.STL - 1 piece RAILING_BRACE.STL - 2 pieces FENCE_RIGHT.STL - 1 piece FENCE_LEFT.STL - 1 piece RAILING.STL - 4 pieces Additional Materials: M3x10 bolt: 4 pieces - Used as hinges to connect the 2 rail-braces to the 4 railings M3x10 bolt: 4 pieces - Used as hinges to connect the 2 rails with the main truss M3x25 bolt: 2 pieces - Used as hinges to connect the floor part with the ramp part M3x20 bolt: 2 pieces - Used as hinges to connect the arm part to the "crown" part Miniature metal chain (as used in jewelry) is required to hang the floor (road) part onto the arm part. Another piece of this chain has been used to pull down the counterweight, raising the bridge. Happy printing! Huib Schippers (Tinkerer)
